Headline index

Share of Asian event coverage that is conflict or threat, normalized so the 2000‑2019 mean = 100 (30‑day average, shown weekly).

Country‑specific index

Each country's own geopolitical risk, normalized to its own 2000‑2019 mean = 100. A value of 150 means risk coverage 50% above that country's normal. Pick any country:

Levels are comparable to each country's own history, not across countries. For cross‑country comparison use the coverage‑share file below.

By region

Conflict‑coverage share by UN subregion of Asia (monthly): Central, Eastern, South‑eastern, Southern and Western Asia.

Threats vs. acts

Verbal conflict (threats, anticipation) versus material conflict (acts, realization), monthly, each mean 2000‑2019 = 100.

Country pages

Each country has its own page with the latest reading, a long-run chart, its rank in the region and a monthly CSV.
